About this template

A first-person one-take routine. The only body in frame is the viewer's own hands and forearms at their own eyeline — no face, no presenter, no mirror — reaching for the product, using it in one unhurried pass, and setting it down clean, in a single continuous arc. With no face to watch, the hands read as the viewer's own. The punch is spoken, never printed.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Is this a good fit for a wet-shave or metal razor?

Yes. The scenario centers on lifting a razor, drawing the first lathered pass, and rinsing it, so manual razors fit the action directly.

Does a presenter speak to camera?

No. It is a first-person view of the user's own hands with no face shown and no cutaways, so the hands and the razor carry the whole clip.

Is the razor shown being assembled or loaded?

No. It stays fully assembled as in your product image; the reel shows the lift, the stroke, and the rinse, not loading a blade.

How long is the video and what format is it?

It is a vertical 9:16 reel in UGC style, roughly 14 seconds, sized for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.

Will my razor be recognizable on screen?

Yes. The handle and blade head read clearly as the hand lifts it and again when it is rinsed and set back on the sink, locked to your product image.

More about this template

A first-person shave, in one unbroken take

This template puts the camera in the viewer's own eyeline, looking down at their hands at a bright bathroom sink. The whole reel is a single continuous arc: a hand and bare forearm rise into frame and close around your razor standing on the sink edge, lifting it so the weighted metal handle and blade head read clearly.

Without a cut, that hand carries the razor up to a lathered jaw and draws one clean downward stroke through the white lather. Then it turns the razor under the running tap so water sheets off the wet metal, sets it back upright on the sink, and the thumb passes once along the cleared jaw.

Why the first-person view works

There is no separate presenter and no face to cut to: the person in frame is the user. The reach is the hook, the stroke is the demo, and the clean razor in hand is the verdict, all in one take.

Who it's for

Wet-shave razor and grooming brands that want an immersive, hands-on reel that shows the real feel of the first pass.
